RIGGING & SAILS
The rigging of DINGHY is available in 2 versions - The ALUMINIUM version has a 7.3m mast and boom 2.9m aluminum for a total sail area of surface 23.3m ² : with a Main sail 13.8m ² made in Gitter Polyester blue and a Jib 8.5 m² (usage with furler) made in Gitter Polyester Blue OPTION: Jib 7m² made in Gitter - The CARBON fiber version offers a carbon mast 8m and carbon boom 2.9m for a total area upwind of 24.8m ² : with a Main sail 16.3m ² and a Jib 8.5 m² OPTION: Jib 7m² made in Gitter . In these 2 versions, the bowsprit is made in carbon fiber to bearing Asymmetric Spinnakers of 28m ² and 36m ². All sails have been developed by NORTH SAILS in line with the specifics of the boat .

IMPLEMENTATION
SPEED FEET18' DINGHY is designed with a retractable centerboard and weighted (110 kg) to provide the best performance and maintain stability while sailing. It doesn't capsize and is equipped with chains for extra security. The draft of the centerboard in navigation is 1.75m. The centerboard can be fully rotated on its axis to fit into the hull thickness, to allow stranding. The hoist system of centerboard is accessible from the skipper place to adjust the position of the centerboard in navigation or approach the coast. The pivot axis of the centerboard is in the entrance of the cabin so its invisible and do not impede traffic in the large cockpit.
